The tour so far, for context
The Wourld Tour II is an extension, not a fresh start: it builds on the band's current global Wourld Tour, which has been playing sold-out arenas through 2026, including a sold-out Madison Square Garden, on the back of their fifth studio album (((((ultraSOUND))))), released in 2025. The 2026 run alone covered 68 headlining arena dates across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and the band finish the year with two sold-out shows December 4–5 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
That scale is a comeback story. The California band, formed in Newbury Park, went on hiatus before reuniting, and the members have said openly they were unsure where their career would stand when they got back together — only for their fan base to grow sharply during the break. A decade after "Sweater Weather" made them a fixture of alternative playlists, the 2027 extension takes the same arena show back to the markets that sold out in 2026, plus the Canadian cities they skipped last time.
