Quick answer
Yes — Goo Goo Dolls will tour North America in 2027 as main support on Def Leppard's 45-date run, with The Struts as special guests. The tour runs March 2 to July 2, 2027 across the US and Canada, hitting arenas including Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.
October 2026 check: the 45 dates were announced on October 8, 2026, and presales start October 12. The Goo Goo Dolls' own 2027 headline dates, if any, have not been announced — this co-bill is their confirmed 2027 routing so far.

Why a 2027 tour makes sense
Goo Goo Dolls are riding an unlikely second wind. Their 1998 ballad "Iris" has become one of the most-streamed songs on earth — diamond-certified, over 6 billion global streams, more than 1 billion in 2025 alone — powered by a wave of covers and viral moments. The Buffalo band formed by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac in 1986 followed their extensive 2026 summer run by announcing this arena package, the biggest North American routing of their recent years.
Pairing with Def Leppard makes commercial sense: two catalogue-heavy rock acts whose audiences overlap on the big-chorus, singalong end of arena rock, with The Struts adding glam-rock energy at the top of the night. For Goo Goo Dolls, it is also a step up in room size from their usual amphitheatre circuit.
