The 1975 Tour 2027

Quick answer

No — The 1975 have not announced a 2027 tour. The Manchester band has been on an "indefinite hiatus" from live shows since their Still... At Their Very Best world tour ended in March 2024, with just one concert since: their debut Glastonbury Pyramid headline set on June 27, 2025. All of the band's energy is going into a sixth album — Matty Healy said in September 2026 it is "almost done" — and a tour would realistically follow an album release, not precede it. October 2026 check: zero official 2027 dates, venues, cities, or ticket on-sales exist anywhere.

What's confirmed vs. what's still coming

That is the honest state of play: the only confirmed facts point in one direction — the band is finishing new music. Until a record is actually out (or formally announced), treat every supposed 2027 itinerary as rumor.

Why a 2027 tour is plausible — but far from guaranteed

The 1975's entire career pattern is album, then enormous tour. Their last three eras each ended in globe-spanning runs, and the pieces for the next one are quietly falling into place. In a video played at a Sunday For Sammy charity event in North Shields on September 25, 2026, Healy gave the clearest update yet on the follow-up to 2022's 'Being Funny in a Foreign Language': after joking "I'm never going to finish it," he added, "It's almost done." The band's manager and Dirty Hit boss Jamie Oborne has been saying the same for over a year, calling the material "pretty extraordinary" and insisting the band has earned the right to take its time.

The speculation got its oxygen at Glastonbury 2025, when the word "DOGS" flashed across the stage in red as the band walked off their debut Pyramid headline set — the same word plastered on drummer George Daniel's kit all night. Fans read it as an album title, and at a Q&A at Gateshead College in December 2025, Healy confirmed it was the name of an album before adding: "We made two. It might be one, it might be two... but yeah, we've made two albums." If even one of those lands in late 2026, a 2027 tour announcement would be the natural next move — the band has never released an album without touring it.

None of this is a guarantee, though. The hiatus was real and deliberate: Healy announced it on stage in Sacramento in September 2023, telling the crowd they would be "going on an indefinite hiatus with shows," then clarified in San Jose that it was not a breakup. Oborne explained that playing Glastonbury as the band's only show of 2025 was intentional — "a really powerful thing." A band that protective of its time off will not rush a tour announcement just because fans are impatient.

Ticket and presale info

Nothing has been announced — there are no tickets, presales, or on-sales for any 2027 dates because no dates exist. When The 1975 do tour, this is how their tickets have typically worked: a fan presale through a ticket-request scheme on the band's official site (the1975.com), O2 Priority presales in the UK, then general sale. Do not buy tickets from anyone claiming to sell "confirmed" 2027 dates right now — there are no confirmed dates to sell.
