System of a Down 2027 Tour Dates & Schedule

Quick answer

Yes — System of a Down is confirmed touring in 2027, with a four-date Australia and New Zealand stadium run featuring Faith No More. It opens January 22 at Sydney's Accor Stadium and closes February 7 at Wellington's Hnry Stadium — their first Australian headline shows in over a decade.

Full 2027 schedule

The table above lists all four confirmed dates. All four are outdoor stadium shows, and this is deliberately framed as a brief, focused run rather than an extended regional tour — four shows across two countries over about two and a half weeks.

Why the Faith No More pairing matters

This is a genuinely significant double-bill. Faith No More — fronted by Mike Patton, and widely credited as an early architect of the rap/metal fusion that shaped the genre through the '90s — scrapped their prior touring plans and went quiet for years before signing a global touring deal with promoter 30e in June 2026, described in that agreement as the "strategic and operational hub" for the band's upcoming worldwide runs. This Australia/New Zealand run with System of a Down is their first confirmed touring activity to come out of that deal.

For System of a Down, it's their first Australian headline run since 2012. Both bands are treating this as a genuine reunion-scale event for the region, not just a routine stop.
