Metallica Tour 2027

Quick answer

Yes — Metallica's M72 World Tour rolls into 2027 with a confirmed 12-date North American stadium leg, opening 8 May at BC Place in Vancouver and closing 19 June at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Every show features support from Limp Bizkit and Avatar, and all use the tour's signature in-the-round stage positioned at the 50-yard line. October 2026 check: all 12 dates are confirmed and tickets are on sale; no additional 2027 legs have been announced yet.

What's confirmed vs. what's still coming

Why a 2027 tour makes sense

The M72 World Tour has been one of the most successful touring operations in metal history, and there is no sign of it slowing down. Before the 2027 leg, Metallica closed out 2026 with their "Life Burns Faster" Sphere residency in Las Vegas — a separate engagement running October 2026 through March 2027 — plus two special anniversary shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in November 2026.

The spring 2027 stadium leg follows the proven M72 formula: big college and NFL stadiums, the in-the-round production, and a charitable angle — a cut of every ticket sold goes to local communities via the band's All Within My Hands foundation, which has donated millions to workforce education, food banks and disaster relief. Pairing Metallica with Limp Bizkit and Avatar gives the leg a cross-generational billing that pulls from nu-metal nostalgia through to modern Swedish metal theatricality.

Ticket and presale info

Presales ran the week of 22–24 September 2026, including a SiriusXM listener presale on 24 September, with Verizon customers also getting a presale window. General on-sale followed in late September 2026, and tickets are now available through official channels. As always, buying through official outlets is the only way to guarantee legitimate tickets — and to make sure the All Within My Hands contribution is attached.
