Quick answer

Yes — Judas Priest announced their first 2027 performances on September 22, 2026: two Nordic festival appearances. They'll play Tons of Rock in Oslo, Norway (June 23-26, 2027) and headline Tuska in Helsinki, Finland (July 2-4, 2027), arriving days after wrapping a 27-date 2026 European tour.

October 2026 check: the two festival appearances are confirmed; the band's exact day within each festival — and any additional 2027 dates — have not been announced yet.

What's confirmed vs. what's still coming

✅ Confirmed for 2027

Tons of Rock, Oslo, Norway — June 23-26, 2027, on a bill with Mötley Crüe, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gwar and Turnstile.
Tuska, Helsinki, Finland — July 2-4, 2027, as festival headliners with Lorna Shore, Children of Bodom and The Devil Wears Prada.
Both appearances announced by the band on September 22, 2026.

⚠️ Not yet announced

The exact performance day within each multi-day festival has not been announced.
No additional 2027 dates — headline shows, other festivals or a full tour — have been confirmed yet.
The announcements were explicitly billed as the band's "first performances" for 2027, suggesting more may follow.

The tour so far, for context

Judas Priest are in a remarkably active late-career phase. Their nineteenth studio album, "Invincible Shield", anchored a 27-date 2026 European trek across 14 countries including England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy — and the band announced the 2027 festivals within days of that tour's conclusion.

Singer Rob Halford, now in his mid-70s, has become the genre's most visible argument against retirement, insisting in 2025 interviews that performing is what drives him and that he has no plans to stop while his voice holds up. The compact Nordic summer pairing — Oslo in late June, Helsinki in early July — is exactly the kind of efficient festival routing that lets a veteran band play to huge crowds without a grueling full tour.

Ticket and presale info

Judas Priest festival sets are ticketed through the festivals themselves: Tons of Rock (Oslo) and Tuska (Helsinki) sell their own tickets and multi-day passes. No band-specific presale has been announced. Festival tickets for both events are typically on sale well in advance and headliner days sell fastest once day splits are published.
