The tour so far, for context

Die Prinzen are one of Germany's most successful pop bands. Formed in Leipzig in 1991 from the a-cappella-rooted group Herzbuben - four of the seven members sang in the famous Thomanerchor choir - they have sold nearly 6 million records. Their 1991 debut "Das Leben ist grausam" went double platinum in Germany, "Alles nur geklaut" (1993) hit number 4, "Schweine" (1995) reached number 3, and their most recent studio album "Krone der Schöpfung" (2021) entered the charts at number 2. Hits like "Millionär", "Küssen verboten", and "Alles nur geklaut" are firmly embedded in German pop culture.

The decision to retire was deliberate. After Bild first reported the news in April 2026, the band confirmed it themselves: after more than three decades, the moment had come for a dignified farewell. Frontman Sebastian Krumbiegel told the press they wanted to stop "when it's at its best," while Wolfgang Lenk said the band would rather feel sadness now than embarrassment later - a voluntary, graceful exit. Before the farewell tour, the band completes a "Symphonica 2026" tour with the Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha-Eisenach.

Ticket and presale info

The official presale began April 21, 2026 at 10am via CTS Eventim, with tickets at all known outlets from April 23. Demand was immediate: more than 55,000 tickets sold in the first days, the Leipzig show on November 5 sold out, and an extra Leipzig date on November 4 was officially added. With this being the band's final tour ever, remaining dates - especially the two Leipzig hometown shows, Berlin's Uber Arena, and the Zurich finale - are expected to sell through.
