No dates announced yet

We'll add real dates here the moment they're officially confirmed — no placeholders, no guesses.

Quick answer

No — U2 has not announced a 2027 tour. There are zero official 2027 dates, venues, or on-sales from the band, its management, or Live Nation. What circulates online are fake, AI-generated date lists (often under the invented names "One Last Horizon" or "The Heartbeat of the World"). October 2026 check: a 2027 stadium run remains unannounced, though a finished new album and a recovered Larry Mullen Jr. make one plausible.

What's confirmed vs. what's still coming

⚠️ Not yet announced

No U2 2027 tour dates, cities, venues, or on-sale dates have been announced by the band, management, or Live Nation.
U2's official site (u2.com) lists no upcoming concerts.
The "One Last Horizon" and "Heartbeat of the World" 2027 date lists are fabricated clickbait with invented quotes — do not book travel or buy tickets based on them.
Fan-site speculation points to a possible European stadium leg in summer 2027 if a tour happens, but this is rumor, not fact.

That is the full picture on the official side: nothing. The honest reason the rumors persist is that the setup is genuinely plausible — a finished album, a 50th anniversary, and a drummer back behind the kit — but plausibility is not an announcement. Until U2 speaks, there is no 2027 tour.

Why a 2027 tour makes sense

U2's most recent live work was the record-breaking Sphere residency in Las Vegas (2023–2024), where 40 sold-out shows grossed over $244 million — the fastest-grossing residency the city has ever seen. Before that, the 2017 Joshua Tree tour was the highest-grossing tour on the planet that year, pulling $316 million from 2.7 million fans across 38 cities.

The pieces for a return are lining up. The band has completed its first album of new material since 2017, due in late 2026 to coincide with U2's 50th anniversary. Larry Mullen Jr., who missed the entire Sphere residency due to neck surgery, has recovered and is playing again. In interviews the members have made it clear they want to get back on stage.

The most credible speculation — from long-running fan tracker U2songs.com — sketches a first leg in Mexico and South America in early 2027 followed by a European stadium leg from late May to July 2027, with an announcement possibly around October 2026. Stadium holds have reportedly been seen in the UK, Italy, Germany, and Ireland, including Croke Park in Dublin. None of this is confirmed, and it may change or never materialize.

Ticket and presale info

Nothing is announced yet — there are no presale dates, on-sale windows, or prices. When U2 tours, tickets typically go through Live Nation/Ticketmaster with fan-club presales via U2.com, but that pattern only matters once a real announcement exists. Until then, do not pay for "U2 2027" tickets or VIP packages from third-party sites; they are selling inventory for shows that have not been announced.

Frequently asked questions

No. As of October 2026, U2 has not officially announced any 2027 tour dates, cities, or ticket on-sales. The band, its management, and Live Nation have confirmed nothing for 2027.

They are fake. Several clickbait sites have published invented date lists under names like 'U2: One Last Horizon' and 'U2: The Heartbeat of the World.' U2's own site lists no upcoming concerts, and no reputable music press has reported these shows.

It looks likely, but nothing is official. U2's Sphere residency in Las Vegas ran 2023-2024 with 40 sold-out shows grossing over $244 million. The band has finished a new album, drummer Larry Mullen Jr. has recovered from the surgery that kept him out of the Sphere run, and the members have hinted they want to play live again.

Fan trackers expect any announcement to follow the reveal of the new album, which is due in late 2026 around the band's 50th anniversary. A possible announcement window is late 2026, but this is speculation — U2 has given no date.

Only through official channels once an announcement is made — U2's official site and Live Nation. Websites currently selling 'U2 2027' tickets or VIP packages are not official, and there is no guarantee those shows will exist.

No. 'One Last Horizon' is a fabricated tour name invented by AI-generated clickbait articles. U2 has not announced a farewell tour or any 2027 tour at all.
