Radiohead Tour 2027

Quick answer

Yes — the Radiohead Tour 2027 is officially confirmed. The band announced 21 residency shows across May and June 2027: 16 dates in Australia (four nights at Perth's RAC Arena, six at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena, six at Sydney's Afterpay Arena) and five nights at Saitama's GMO Arena in Japan, running May 3 to June 13, 2027. It is Radiohead's first Australian run in 15 years and first Japanese headline run in 19 years. October 2026 check: everything is announced and the band has said no additional 2027 dates will follow, so this page is complete until anything changes.

What's confirmed vs. what's still coming

Nothing further is expected to be announced — Radiohead have been explicit that the four-city itinerary is the entire 2027 run. There is no hidden second leg to wait for. On the rumor front: no viral fake tour posters are circulating for this artist. The mysterious "2027" cards spotted around Melbourne and the "Tokyo 2027" teaser shown at Summer Sonic 2026 were a genuine official teaser campaign run through the band's W.A.S.T.E. network, not a hoax.

The residency model: why 2027 looks like this

Radiohead returned to live performance in late 2025 with a series of multi-night residencies in European cities — their first proper shows since 2018, a seven-year touring hiatus. The 2027 run extends that exact strategy: instead of a sprawling world tour, the band settles into a few arenas for stacked multi-night stands, expanding capacity within a deliberately narrow footprint.

Guitarist Ed O'Brien laid out the thinking to Rolling Stone in March 2026: each year the band would visit a different continent and play roughly 20 shows, "no more, no less," so they could give everything each night rather than run on empty. The 2027 itinerary lands one show above that plan at 21. Asia and Oceania were specifically the regions O'Brien had named, and the announced run delivers exactly that.

It also follows years of individual pursuits — notably Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's work with The Smile — with the band now choosing longevity over the traditional album-tour grind. Their most recent studio album is still 2016's A Moon Shaped Pool, and the 2027 dates arrive framed as a live-performance event rather than a record cycle.

Ticket and presale info

Nothing is on a standard first-come, first-served sale. Ticket access for all 2027 dates runs through a registration system (via Frontier Touring in Australia and eplus in Japan), with every registration during the window treated equally and a cap of four tickets per person. The Australian registration window opened September 7 and closed September 10, 2026 (5pm AEST / 3pm AWST). Japan registration, including the Creativeman member presale, closed September 27, 2026.

A few things worth knowing: each Australian ticket includes a $2 charity donation split between Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society, matched by the band. Each Japanese ticket includes a ¥200 donation to forest-conservation group More Trees, also matched. For the Japan shows, a ¥59,800 "Fast Track Status" package with an SS reserved seat, early merchandise access, and an exclusive Stanley Donwood/Dr. Tchock-designed item was available.
