The tour so far, for context
Metallica's M72 World Tour began in April 2023 behind 72 Seasons and has played 99 shows in 26 countries. The 2027 leg follows the band's Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, which runs through March 2027, and hits a dozen cities for the first time on this run.
The pairing carries real history: Metallica and Limp Bizkit toured together in 2003 after a public Napster-era falling out and reconciliation between Lars Ulrich and Fred Durst. Limp Bizkit, who headlined Download Festival in June 2026, arrive as one of the defining nu-metal live acts. On social media the band summed the announcement up as "Limptallica twenty seven."
Ticket and presale info
Tickets are Metallica M72 tickets — Limp Bizkit are support, so there is no separate Limp Bizkit on-sale. Fan Club presales began Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time, local presales followed September 24, and the general public on-sale began Friday, September 25, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster and official partners. A portion of every ticket sold supports local charities through Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation.
