Rod Stewart Tour 2027

Quick answer

Yes — Rod Stewart has officially announced The Final Encore, his farewell tour for 2027: 27 dates from March 8 to September 3, 2027, spanning the UK, Ireland, continental Europe and the United States. The European leg runs April 23 to July 24, 2027, opening in Dublin and closing in Hannover. He announced it himself in a video posted to Instagram on September 28, 2026, calling it his "last tour ever, ever, ever" — while stressing he is not retiring from music.

October 2026 check: All announced 2027 dates are confirmed and on sale. European support acts beyond the UK/Ireland dates had not been named yet.

What's confirmed vs. what's still coming

Still to come: support acts for the European mainland dates, and any word on further US dates beyond the six announced. Given the farewell framing, late additions are unlikely — but additional markets were added to past Stewart tours, so the list is worth watching.

The tour so far, for context

Few farewell announcements land like this one. Stewart's touring career stretches back to the early 1960s — from fronting the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces to a solo run that has sold more than 250 million records, produced 11 UK number-one albums and earned him two inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Billboard and Pollstar rank him among the highest-grossing touring artists in history, with an estimated 20 million fans having seen him live.

The decision follows a difficult 2026. After nearly fainting during a performance in Utah, Stewart underwent a routine coronary stent procedure in August 2026, forcing him to curtail his One Last Time US tour and cancel a Las Vegas residency. His farewell statement drew a careful line: "I'm not retiring, but this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour." The 2027 dates are, in effect, both a farewell and a second chance — the four March US shows are makeup dates for the cancelled 2026 run.

Ticket and presale info

Fan club presale opened September 29, 2026, with general sale live from 10am on October 2, 2026, via Ticketmaster. Official hospitality packages (premium seats, lounge access, food and drink) are available through partners such as Seat Unique for the UK dates. As a billed farewell tour of a Rock Hall legend, demand is heavy — buy only through official channels and verified resale to avoid inflated secondary prices.
